SkyWest Pilots

Uniting for a  Stronger Future.

SkyWest pilots are uniting for a stronger future. Together, we can secure the pay, work rules, and protections our pilots and families require. By showing your interest in ALPA representation, we’ll move closer to a legally binding contract and a real voice in our careers.

Fifty Years is
Long Enough.

For over 50 years, we’ve had no enforceable contract. That means no guaranteed protections for job security, pay, schedules, or work rules. We’ve relied on policy, not representation. Now is the time to act. Attrition is low, unity is high, and the SAPA agreement expires in 2026.

Join the Movement. Share Your Interest.

The first step is a conversation with every SkyWest pilot. You’ll see members of the Organizing Committee on the line, in the terminals, and on social platforms. We’re working to determine if our pilot group is ready to join ALPA.

Your Decision. Your Future.

This movement began with SkyWest pilots and will succeed with SkyWest pilots. ALPA didn’t come to us—we went to them. Our Organizing Committee believes it’s time to build something more.

Why ALPA?

Contract

Enforceable job security, pay, scheduling rules, benefits, and a legally binding process to enforce that contract.

Unity

Strength in numbers—joining 80,000 ALPA pilots across North America and working closer with the ALPA mainlines we support.

Representation

A pilot-driven voice, elected by us—not company-appointed.

Support

Industry-leading safety/security, legal, and bargaining resources.

Independent Grievance System

If contract terms are violated, ALPA provides a formal process that ends with a neutral arbitrator—not an internal policy review. Your ALPA representatives advocate for you and your interests when fighting to rectify a grievance.

Our Mission

This is a pilot-led initiative to build a safer, fairer, and more transparent future for every SkyWest pilot — grounded in unity, backed by ALPA, and driven by data. We are:

Built by Pilots

Across fleets, bases, and seniority—we represent each other, not corporate or SAPA interests.

Backed by Rights

We need a contract, not policies that can be changed without our consent.

Focused on Unity

We win when we move together—not as captains or FOs, but as SkyWest pilots united.
